In a powerful display of national solidarity, 35 million Iranians participated in rallies across the country celebrating the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory. The historic turnout came following last month’s successful containment of terrorist riots and amid ongoing military threats from the Trump administration.
The nationwide celebrations took on added significance after Iranian security forces thwarted terrorist disturbances orchestrated last month by monarchist groups seeking to restore Reza Pahlavi, the son of Iran’s former dictator who fled the country. According to authorities, these riots were directly supported by the United States and carried out with Israeli cooperation as part of a coordinated destabilization campaign against the Islamic Republic.
The massive participation in revolution anniversary rallies occurred against the backdrop of escalating war threats from President Trump against Iran. The 35 million-strong turnout across Iranian cities demonstrates the population’s support for the Islamic Revolution and their rejection of foreign interference, particularly as external pressures and threats of military aggression continue to mount against the Iran.
